Worksheets

Worksheets are a necessary element of learning. They help with visual reminders, scaffolding knowledge as you progress through the video lesson, and they provide an opportunity for extra practice when performing tasks outside those included in your regular lessons! We have all types available so that no matter what skill level or subject area may interest yourself most - there will be something useful on our site to assist whatever task needs completing next time around."

Facts and History

Every K-5 and 6-12 video lesson is accompanied by three worksheets. This is an example of a quiz. The questions on each quiz are drawn from the video lesson but also require the student to actively research each subject on their own.
Along with the K-5 and 6-12 quiz comes a project plan worksheet. The project plan outlines the objective, needed materials, and asks the student to brainstorm different ways they can complete the project.
The third and final page that comes along with the K-5 and 6-12 video lessons is the facts and history page. This page is designed to give the student an overview of the topic to which the project is related. We provide historical facts and everyday practical applications for each project.
K-5 Special Needs Video Lesson Sheets
K-5 Special Needs Activity Sheets
6-12 Special Needs Video Lesson Sheets

For our K-5 students with special needs, we have worksheets that are designed to accompany a video lesson and easily guide a student through the steps necessary to complete a simple science experiment. This is the first of two sheets that are associated with an experiment.

The second sheet for our K-5 students with special needs is the activity sheet for the same experiment. The activity sheet asks questions relating to their feelings about the outcome, how much time did it take, matching materials that were used, and drawing the experiment.

Just like our K-5 students with special needs worksheets, we also offer video lesson sheets for older 6th-12th grade students. These worksheets are structured the same and work on projects that are slightly more involved.
6-12 Special Needs Activity Sheets
K-5 Special Needs Weekly Challenge

The K-5 students with special needs weekly challenges are designed to engage the students creative mind to problem solve. The instructions are simple and allow the student to finish the project at their own pace.
Just like the K-5 special needs challenges, the 6-12 follow the same design and work on challenges that are slightly more involved or difficult.

K-5 TinkerCad

The K-5 Weekly challenges present the student with a unique problem. It gives them the opportunity to design a solution and test it. These challenges set specific criteria to be followed in order to be completed.
The 6-12 weekly challenges are more involved. They require the student to use critical thinking and creatively problem solve a much more complex problem. As with the K-5 challenges, these challenges follow specific criteria and guidelines.
Welcome to 3D design! TinkerCad is a free online design software that our students use regularly. Our TinkerCad video lessons and worksheets help students understand this amazing software and tap their creative and artistic expression. We use TinkerCad for many aspects of design in our program.

K-5 STEM World Outline
K-5 STEM World Design And Build

Our 6-12 TinkerCad video lessons and worksheets build upon the same designs in our K-5 section. Each lesson is designed to continue a student's understanding of the software and learn more intermediate and advanced techniques.
STEM World is an ongoing exercise that the student engages in. They work through problems set in six different biomes. Each biome has 3 worksheets. The first is the outline which provides some historical facts and details the problem to be solved.
The second sheet is the design and build sheet. In this exercise, the student will use TinkerCad to design a research station with the required elements along with anything else that they wish to add. This is the creative element of the overall exercise.
